Lower Merion Cops Helping Collect Unused, Unwanted Drugs Saturday

Saturday is the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and police in Lower Merion Township are joining the effort.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Saturday is the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, and police in Lower Merion Township are joining the effort to keep these medications out of the wrong hands and out of the water.

Lower Merion area residents can dispose of their unused and unwanted medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lower Merion Police Department.

Accepted are prescription and over-the-counter tablets and capsules, inhalers, creams, ointments, nasal sprays, pet medicines and vaping products.

Not accepted are needles, liquid meds and intravenous/injectable solutions.
