LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion residents have chances to dispose of numerous items this weekend at two clean up days.

The township is hosting clean up days Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Koegel Public Works Complex, 1300 N Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.

Residents who have proof of Lower Merion Township residence can dispose of unwanted refuse and recyclables — such as household appliances, textiles, plastic, glass, newsprint, and plain old trash — free of charge.

Recyclable materials must be separated from other household trash.

Additionally, some non-profit organizations will have representatives on hand to collect, bicycles, furniture, clothing and more:

  • Harmonious Volunteer Center (furniture, toys, clothing)
  • Neighborhood Bike Works (bicycles)

Masks and social distancing will be required to enter the Transfer Station.

Staff will not be available to unload items in order to adhere to distancing requirements and for the safety of our residents and staff.

Household hazardous waste will not be accepted at this event.
