Lower Merion Playgrounds Open, Pools Open July 1

All playgrounds in the township are open, but basketball and hockey courts, as well as comfort stations and water fountains, are closed.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Summer fun is coming back in Lower Merion, as the township has opened playgrounds and announced the pool opening date.

All township playgrounds are open as of Friday, June 26.

However, basketball, hockey courts, and comfort stations are closed.

All water fountains will remain closed throughout 2020.

Township pools will open Wednesday, July 1.

Daily pool registration will start at 7 a.m. Monday.

Due to restrictions related to the coronavirus, only Lower Merion Township residents will be given memberships to township pools.
