Just 15 people have won all four awards, including Elton john, Whoopi Goldberg, John Legend, and Liza Minnelli.

And with Pasek this week earning an Emmy nomination, he too could join their ranks.

Pasek and his partner Justin Paul earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for their original song in the hit Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building," which stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin.

The writing duo has already won Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards.

Most recently, the pair won the Tony for Best Musical in 2022 for "A Strange Loop."

They won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album for "Dear Evan Hansen" in 2018, and also won Tony awards for Best Original Score and Best Musical for "Dear Evan Hansen" in 2017.

In 2016, the pair won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for the song "City of Stars" from "La La Land."

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Sept. 15 and will air on ABC.

Tune in to see if the local composer secures the coveted EGOT.
