Murder In Lower Merion Highlighted On True-Crime Show

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Twenty-five years ago, 31-year-old chef Jim Webb was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in his Lower Merion Township office.

And in 2001, his killer, Guy Sileo, was brought to justice.

This story is the subject of an episode of the Oxygen channel's "In Ice Cold Blood" true-crime series, hosted by Ice-T.

Webb and Sileo went into the restaurant business at the historic General Wayne Inn in 1995.

Just more than a year later, Webb was found dead in his office with a gunshot to the back of his head.

Through years of detective work, authorities were able to determine Sileo was the gunman.

Sileo was eventually convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
