Property Tax Rebates Available For Lower Merion, Narberth Seniors

Applicants for this rebate must meet the qualifications set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's PA-1000 Property/Tax Rent Rebate Program.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Senior residents of Lower Merion Township and Narberth Borough can get rebates for their Lower Merion School District property taxes.

The Lower Merion Board of School Directors approved a program that allows qualified senior citizens living in the township and borough to apply for a partial rebate of the amount they are paying for Lower Merion School District property taxes.

Applicants for this rebate must meet the qualifications set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's PA-1000 Property/Tax Rent Rebate Program.

To get the LMSD rebate, qualified individuals need to print out this form, fill it out completely and mail it to:

Attn: Business Office

To receive a rebate for taxes filed in 2023, the form must be submitted between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024.

Once the completed form is received by LMSD, applicants can expect to receive a rebate check from the district in approximately 30 days.

Copies of tax bills do not need to be attached to the applications.
