Rock N' Ride On Saturday To Support Narberth First Responders

It's the second year for Rock N' Ride, which attracted more than 5,000 people from greater Philadelphia and the Main Line last year.

ARDMORE, PA — The Rock N' Ride bike race and music festival, to support the first responders of Narberth Ambulance, is back on Saturday in downtown Ardmore.

This free, outdoor, family friendly event features an official USA Cycling bike race, a multi-stage concert produced by Ardmore Music Hall, a youth bike race, and a family fun zone at Lancaster and Station avenues.

Rock N' Ride is Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It's the second year for the event, which attracted more than 5,000 people from greater Philadelphia and the Main Line last year.

Races run from 10:15 a.m. through 5 p.m. and include the qualifier races, family and kids' races, and championship races. The one-milerace course starts at Lancaster Avenue, runs through the center of Suburban Square and Church Rd Bridge, and then cuts back to Lancaster Avenue.

Organizers are hoping to raise $300,000 for Narberth Ambulance this year. All net profits will benefit Narberth Ambulance.

Music stages are set up off Coulter and Lancaster avenues.

The event is presented by Main Line Health, Independence Blue Cross, Ardmore Music Hall and Suburban Square.
