WYNNEWOOD, PA — New health safety grades for hospitals have been released by The Leapfrog Group, and Lankenau Medical Center has slipped a bit.

According to Leapfrog's Fall 2022 Hospital Safety Grades report, Lankenau Medical Center's grade dropped a letter from its spring rating.

In the spring, the Main Line Health facility was graded B for overall health safety.

Three other Main Line Health facilities — Bryn Mawr Hospital, Riddle Hospital, and Paoli Hospital — were all graded A in the new report.

"There are a number of factors that affect where our patients choose to go for their care," said Jack Lynch, CEO and President, Main Line Health. "While we celebrate our hospitals’ strong performance, we should also remember that these grades cannot accurately represent the compassion, humanity, and support that has encouraged patients to choose Main Line Health—again and again—for generations."
