LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion issued details on crimes in the township recently.

June 6

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) – 13 vehicles had windows broken out of the vehicles and the vehicles gone through while parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) – Victim reported that their Nissan was stolen from the parking lot of their apartment complex sometime within the past week. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

June 5

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) – Victim reported that their Jeep was stolen sometime in the past 24 hours from the parking lot of their apartment complex. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

June 4

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) – Victim reported that the front passenger video of their Honda was broken out and their vehicle was rummaged through while working out at a local fitness center. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) – Victim reported that their unlocked BMW was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the street in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

June 3

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) – 4 subjects were observed attempting to break into a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment building overnight. Officers arrived on scene and were able to take 4 juveniles into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) – Victim reported that someone entered and went through their unlocked Toyota which had been parked in their driveway during the overnight hours. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) – A recovered vehicle used in a Robbery in East Whiteland was later to be determined stolen from the parking garage of an apartment building overnight. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

June 1

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that they agreed to met a party in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center in order to sell a motorcycle. The victim advised that the other party never returned with the motorcycle after taking it for a test drive. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

May 3

  • Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - Victim reported that their unlocked Kia was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the street in front of the residence. The investigation into this incident is continuing.

May 30

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Victim reported that the passenger side window of their Fiat was broken out in the overnight hours and the vehicle was gone through. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
  • Theft of Vehicle (Gladwyne) - Victim reported that their unlocked Audi was stolen from the driveway of their residence overnight. A key fob was left within the vehicle. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
