Student Start Time Survey Launched By Lower Merion School District

Members of the LMSD community are invited to weigh in on potential changes to student start times in the district.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is seeking input from its community on potential new start times for students.

Parents and guardians in the district are invited to participate in a survey regarding start times.

The survey is "intended to help us hear from the diverse range of voices within our school community as the District considers the implementation of new start schedule changes for September 2023," the district said.

The district is also holding listen and learn sessions about start times.

Below are planned sessions:

In-Person Listen & Learn Sessions for Families:

  • Tuesday, February 28, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the DAO Board Room (located at 301 E. Montgomery Avenue in Ardmore)
  • Wednesday, March 1, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (virtual)
  • Thursday, March 2, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (virtual)
  • Friday, March 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m (virtual)
  • Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to noon in the DAO Board Room (located at 301 E. Montgomery Avenue in Ardmore)
  • Monday, March 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the DAO Board Room (located at 301 E. Montgomery Avenue in Ardmore)
  • Monday, March 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (virtual)
  • Tuesday, March 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (virtual)
  • Wednesday, March 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (virtual)
