LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township are joining numerous other departments in Montgomery County in an effort to keep prescription medications out of the wrong hands and out of the environment.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, Lower Merion Police are participating in the DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Drugs can be dropped off at the Lower Merion Township Police Department, 71 E. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore.

The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal, while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of these medications.
