Where To See Santa In The Lower Merion Area This Christmas Season

Santa Claus is coming to town, and these are the spots you'll be able to see him this Christmas season.

LOWER MERION, PA — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Lower Merion area families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In the Lower Merion area, kids have several chances:

Suburban Square

Santa Claus will help light the Christmas tree in Ardmore's Suburban Square under artificial snow at 4:30 p.m. Satruday, Nov. 25.

Old Saint Nick will also be available for free pictures inside his Winter Wonderland, located across from the fire pit, between Sephora & Lilly Pulitzer.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a new and unwrapped toy to be donated to the Ardmore Avenue Community Center Toy Drive.

Havertown Holiday Festival

Santa will help light the tree at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 as part of the Havertown Holiday Festival.

Santa will also be making rounds at the festival from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Santa in Manayunk

Santa will be in Manayunk the following dates and times:

  • Dec. 2 — 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Dec. 7 — 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 16 — 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Dec. 21 — 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 23 — 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Santa will also be taking photos with pets at Pet Friendly Dog Bakery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Broomall Fire Company

Santa will be at the Broomall Fire Company in Marple Township from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.

He will then make rounds around Marple Township, as well as Veterans Memorial Park and at the Marple Township Tree Lighting at about 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will follow the lighting.

  • Monday to Thursday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Santa break time, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Santa break time, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • Sunday: noon to 6 p.m. (Santa break time: 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Extended Hours Dec. 8 to Dec. 24

  • Monday to Thursday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Santa break time, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
  • Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Santa break time, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Santa break time, 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
  • Dec. 21 to Dec. 23: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Santa break time, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
  • Dec. 24: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Santa break time: 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.)

Breakfast with Santa in Media

Get breakfast with Santa at Lima Church in Media from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Philadelphia, Santa will be at Macy's on Dec. 16. Reservations are required. Get details online here.
