Woman Dies From Fall At Ringing Rocks Park

The woman was walking along a waterfall when the accident happened in the early afternoon, authorities said.

BRIDGETON TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman died Sunday after a fall at Ringing Rocks Park in Bridgeton Township, according to authorities.

Catherine Elder, 61, was pronounced dead by the Bucks County Coroner's Office. She died from blunt force injuries to the head and right arm. The death has been ruled accidental by the coroner's office.

Authorities said the woman was walking along the top of a waterfall when she slipped and fell to the base. The accident was witnessed by bystanders who called 911.

According to her obituary, the woman was a resident of Holland Township.
