Attempted Murder, More Charges Filed In Delco Road Rage Shooting

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Drexel Hill man has been charged with attempted homicide and related crimes after police said he fired more than a dozen shots at a vehicle Monday, injuring the driver and endangering a juvenile passenger.

Sean Moses, 30, of Drexel Hill, was charged in connection with the road rage incident that unfolded at 3:26 p.m. Monday on the 2000 block of West Chester Pike in Havertown, according to Haverford Township Police.

Officers were called to the area for a report of a road rage shooting. Authorities said the shooting was preceded by a crash between the two vehicles, and that the shots were fired up the road from where the crash occurred.

While on their way to the scene, officers learned the suspect was in a black Lincoln SUV that was last seen heading east on West Chester Pike. When officers showed up to the shooting scene, they found a white Jeep Cherokee with thirteen bullet holes in the headlight, hood, and windshield, police said.

The driver was injured by possible shrapnel or glass fragments, but the 10-year-old passenger was not harmed, police said. The two, a woman in her 40s and her nephew Action News reported, were taken by to a hospital for treatment.

Not long after the incident, police in Radnor Township let Haverford Police know the Lincoln was going east on West Chester Pike through License Plate Readers. Upper Darby Police then saw the Lincoln and stopped it at State Road and West Chester Pike in Upper Darby Township.

The driver, identified as Moses, was taken into custody and police found a gun on the front seat of the Lincoln, police said.

The incident is under investigation.

Court records were not immediately available for Moses.
