Heat Advisory Issued In Hatboro-Horsham
The National Weather Service said the advisory is in effect for Wednesday due to the return of excessive heat.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory with excessive heat returning Wednesday.
The heat advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the National Weather Service of Mount Holly said.
On Wednesday, temperatures could reach the mid-to upper 90s with heat index values nearing 100, according to NWS forecasters.

Storms could also develop Wednesday afternoon, forecasters said. The primary threats are damaging winds, localized flooding, and tornadoes.
Forecasters are warning that the hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat-related illness.

People are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids, stay indoors with air conditioning and out of the sun if possible, and check up on family and friends.
