Limerick Man Downs 409 Chicken Wings To Earn Wing Bowl Crown

LIMERICK, PA -- When all was said and done, Notorious B.O.B. had done it again.

The Limerick man downed 409 chicken wings to become the 2017 Philadelphia Wing Bowl champion at the recent event held at the Wells Fargo Center.

Shoudt, whose competes under the name Notorious B.O.B., has been a competitive eater since 2003, when he first took part in the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating contest.

In previous years, Royersford's Phamous Phil’s BBQ & Grille has partnered Bob Shoudt to help him prepare for the big event.

He first competed in Wing Bowl 13, in 2005. At 2015’s event, he consumed 280 wings in 30 minutes, earning him the first-place spot among local competitors.
