7 Teens Stole $3,800 In Merchandise From Delco Lululemon: State Police

GLEN MILLS, PA — Pennsylvania State Police said seven teenagers from Delaware County and Philadelphia were arrested in connection with the theft of nearly $4,000 worth of merchandise from a store last month.

According to state police, four people from Darby, ages 14 and 16, and three people from Philadelphia, ages 14 and 15, stole $3,863 in bulk merchandise from the Glen Mills Lululemon store last month.

Police were called to the store at about 3:30 p.m. on July 11 for a report of a retail theft in progress.

The seven teenagers took the items from the store without paying, police said.

Further details on the incident were not released.

The same Lululemon store was the victim of thieves who took $5,183 worth of items in June this year. Those taken into custody were a 16-year-old boy from Philadelphia, a 16-year-old girl from Philadelphia, a 17-year-old girl from Philadelphia, an 18-year-old man from Philadelphia, and a 22-year-old man from Norwood, police said.

Also in June, Philadelphia authorities said they broke up an organized theft ring that targeted Lululemon stores, and that the ring recruited young children to partake in the thefts.

Back in May, police in Lower Merion Township filed felony charges after they said four women stole about $10,000 worth of merchandise from the Ardmore Lululemon.
