BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic (St. Mary Medical Center) has joined the Kin Wellness Center as a sponsor and two other healthcare providers, Grand View Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center Bucks County, have renewed their commitments to the Buckingham center.

The nonprofit, all-inclusive wellness and support center provides free services through its unique 360-degree care model to cancer patients, their caregivers and local oncology healthcare workers across Bucks County.

“Fox Chase’s sponsorship of Kin is particularly meaningful to me because I refer numerous patients to Kin who universally tell me that Kin has changed their lives,” said Shelly Hayes, MD,

oncology. “The supportive services that Kin provides to our local cancer patients are invaluable and allows them to cope with the physical, mental and psychological impact that cancer has on them and their caregivers."

In addition, said Hayes, for the patients who are actively on treatment "these supportive services help ease the side effects of their treatments, thereby enabling them to continue receiving the life prolonging treatments that their oncologists are administering. I view Kin as a partner in the care of my patients and am extremely grateful to have Kin right here in Bucks County!”
