North Hills School District Gears Up For 2024-25 Year
Here's what you need to know about the start of the North Hills School District year.
ROSS AND WEST VIEW, PA — Well, that was a quick summer, wasn't it?
Seasonally, there are weeks to go until autumn arrives. But for students, the first day of school signals the end of the summer season - and that day quickly is closing in.
According to the district website, here is what parents need to know:

The first day of school for the 2024-25 school year for students in grades 1-12 is Aug. 21. Kindergarten students will have orientation on August 21 or August 22 before their first full day of school on Aug. 23. A.W. Beattie's first day is Aug. 20; transportation will be provided from the high school.
Student teacher assignments, class schedules, locker and bus information will be available in PowerSchool in August.

North Hills High School
- Student's courses are available now under “My Schedule" (Need to request a change? Click here.)
- Complete schedules (period, teacher and classroom assignments) will be released August 7.
North Hills Middle School
- Students schedules available under "Student Reports" (web browser only)
Elementary Schools
- Student classroom and teacher assignments will be released August 12.
