How low can you get?
Well, if you’re a bassoonist, violist, tuba player, or tympanist, you can get pretty low, and the Audubon Symphony would love to have you join. And, of course, if you play other orchestral instruments, we’d also be glad to have you.
The Audubon Symphony is an amateur community orchestra that began more than 30 years ago as part of the Audubon YMCA, but has been an independent organization operating out of Trappe, PA for the last decade. We play a mix of classical and popular music under the baton of our conductor, John Mayer, who holds a masters in orchestral conducting from West Chester University. The orchestra currently has more than 40 active and enthusiastic members playing the usual orchestral instruments.
The orchestra requires no auditions for membership, and we have musicians of all skill levels. We rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 at St.Luke’s United Church of Christ , 200 W. Main St. in Trappe, but we are not affiliated with the church. 
Rehearsals for the fall season will begin on September 11.
