PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Construction has begun on Mowere Road in Phoenixville, a major project that will shut down a stretch of the busy road to traffic for months and add to traffic concerns in the area.

The project, which will close Mowere between North Ridge Drive and St. Mary’s Street, will be ongoing through Nov. 22.

The Schuylkill River Trail will remain open to trail users during construction.
