Five Candidates Will Serve On The Phoenixville Area School Board

The polls closed at 8 p.m. and election officials are tallying the votes at the Chester County Government Center.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —Ten candidates competed in the 2023 General Election for five seats on the Phoenixville Area School District school board.

The district covers 22 square miles and includes Phoenixville Borough, and East Pikeland and Schuylkill townships. It has 32,000 residents.

The district has one high school, one middle school, and three elementary schools, Barkley, Manavon, and Schuylkill, and plans to construct a fourth off Hares Hill Road, East Pikeland Township.

The polls closed at 8 p.m. and the votes are being tallied at the Chester County Government Services Center, West Goshen Township.

At 10 p.m, the Democratic candidates were ahead of the Republican candidates, according to the unofficial results on the Chester County Voters Services website here.

  • Stephanie Allen: (D) an incumbent: 1,664 votes
  • Sean Halloran(D): 1,612 votes
  • Graham Perry(D): 1,570 votes
  • Frank Venezia(D): 1,576 votes
  • Daniel S. Wiser(D): 1,539 votes
  • Megan Valencia(R): 322 votes
  • Emily Shanley(R): 295 votes
  • David Golberg (R): an incumbent: 236 votes
  • Kurt Siso(R): 277 votes
  • Prince Denson(R): 237 votes
