Missing Phoenixville Area Man Found Safe

Police thanked the public for their help in tracking down the missing man.

SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Phoenixville area man who went missing last week has been found safe, police said.

Authorities thanked the public for their help in tracking the man down.

Jeffrey DiMaio, 64, has not been seen since around 5 p.m. on Aug. 4.

DiMaio is a resident of Liberty House, a supportive living home in Schuylkill Township off of Charlestown Road. He has a paranoid schizophrenia disorder, authorities said.

DiMaio is driving a gray 2013 Ford Focus with PA license plate GKZ7895. His vehicle was seen on Monday at around 12:30 p.m. in the Marcus Hook area.
