Phoenixville Area's New Westside Apartment Complex Begins Pre-Leasing

The Westside Apartments and Shopping, located at Route 23 and Rapps Dam Road, has begun pre-leasing.

The complex, just about two miles away from downtown Phoenixville, will feature apartments starting at $1,199 a month and several shopping opportunities, including a Dunkin Donuts, Wayback Burger, Pet Valu, Phoenix Cleaners, and Tre Nail Bar.

The developer is Phoenixville's Bill Andersen, president of the Longview Property Group. Andersen and his wife, Liz, worked together helped to launch the Phoenixville Farmers Market, Charlestown Farm, and Broadwater Farm.

Longview organizers said that they "prefer" to target revitalization projects on old industrial sites, such as what previously existed on the Westside property at 1107 Rapps Dam Road.

The development will feature studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartment homes. Amenities of the complex will include an outdoor pool, fitness center, sundeck with patio furniture, outdoor fire pits, stainless steel grilling, community center with free WiFi, a gaming room, and on-site parking. Prices top out at $2,000 a month.
