Delco Man Charged With Child Porn Found Dead In Cemetery: Report

Thomas Bowles, 45, of Swarthmore, was found dead in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield Monday, according to a news report.

SPRINGFIELD, PA — A Delaware County man who was recently charged with 25 counts of child pornography crimes was reportedly found dead by suicide in a cemetery Monday.

Thomas Bowles, 45, of Swarthmore, was charged on Wednesday, April 10 with the child pornography crimes, as well as 25 counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

Bowles was released on $75,000 unsecured bail after his arraignment that same day.

However, the Delaware County Daily Times reports Bowles was found dead Monday in the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.

The outlet reports Delaware County dispatch got a call for a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the cemetery at about 8:52 a.m. Monday.
