Luxury Apartment Building Under Construction on Swedesford Road

Swedesboro Plaza Apartments, a 250-unit luxury apartment building is expected to be complete at the end of 2023, officials predict.

TREDYFFRIN TWP. — Construction is underway for a four-story, 250-unit Swedesford Plaza apartment building on the corner of Swedesford Road and Contention Lane.

Demolition of the H.H. Gregg electronic building has been complete and the site work and foundation work is ongoing, according to Pete Sikora, vice president of Buzzuto Development Company, the developer of the project.

"We have tailored the design of the apartments and amenity space to the wants and needs of today’s sophisticated renter and have created a fantastic offering," Sikora said.

  • Direct connection to the Chester Valley Trail via an easement agreement with the county. Public parking at trail entrance for the general public’s use of the trail connection.
  • Upgraded Septa bus stop at Swedesford Road and Contention Lane with a new bus shelter and pedestrian access to the trail and adjacent retail shopping centers.
  • Over 12,000 square feet with of carefully curated amenity space along with two outdoor courtyards which will provide for ample outdoor space.

All of the erosion controls have already been installed.

The developer has opened luxury apartments in Town Center, King of Prussia, and Conshohocken.
