TGI Friday's Closes Willow Grove Location

WILLOW GROVE, PA — TGI Friday's recently announced a slew of its locations across the country have closed, and only one in Pennsylvania is on the list of shuttered stores.

The company Wednesday said it is closing "36 underperforming locations in select markets across the U.S."

Among those is the Abington Township location at 2500 W. Moreland Road in Willow Grove.

"As part of the store closures, TGI Fridays is offering more than 1,000 transfer opportunities, which represents over 80% of total impacted employees," the announcement reads.
