Warminster Line Service Interruptions Starting This Weekend

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Line will have service interruptions for two months starting Saturday, SEPTA said on Monday.

SEPTA said the service interruptions to the Warminster Line begin Saturday and last until Nov. 3.

The Warminster Line has stops in Warminster, Hatboro, Willow Grove, Abington, Roslyn, Glenside, Jenkintown, and Elkins Park, among others before heading into Philadelphia.

Bus service replaces train service Saturday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Nov. 3, due to scheduled work on the SEPTA Warminster Line. On weekends, bus substitution occurs between Warminster and Glenside stations. On weekdays, bus substitution occurs midday only (8:45 am to 2:45 pm) between Warminster and Roslyn stations.

A special one-day Warminster Line schedule for Saturday, Sept. 7 will be in effect due to bus substitution between Glenside and Warminster stations.

To assist riders with this change, SEPTA will host a webinar on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Interested attendees can register to join using the event registration link.

Weekend Shuttle Busing Between Warminster and Glenside Stations

Shuttle bus substitution takes place for the entire service day.

Buses depart Warminster Station 24 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled train time. Trains depart 5 minutes after the bus arrives at Glenside Station. Passengers should add approximately 25 to 30 minutes to their travel time. For outbound service, the connecting shuttle bus departs 4 minutes after train arrival. Passengers should add approximately 25 to 30 minutes to their travel time.

Weekend Shuttle Bus Fare Information:

Inbound (towards Center City): No fares collected on shuttle bus; passengers tap on at Glenside Station and tap off at their final destination. Outbound (towards Warminster) passengers tap off at Glenside Station and take the shuttle bus to their final destination.

Weekday Shuttle Busing Between Warminster and Roslyn Stations

Shuttle bus substitution takes place from 8:45 am to 2:45 pm.

Buses depart Warminster Station 12 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled train time. Trains depart 2 minutes after the bus arrives at Roslyn Station. Passengers should add approximately 15 to 20 minutes to their travel time. For outbound service, the connecting shuttle bus departs 3 minutes after the train arrives at Roslyn station. Passengers should add approximately 15 to 20 minutes to their travel time.

Weekday Shuttle Bus Fare Information

Inbound (towards Center City): No fares are collected on shuttle bus; passengers tap on at Roslyn Station and tap off at their final destination. Outbound (towards Warminster) passengers tap off at Roslyn Station and take the shuttle bus to their final destination. SEPTA Customer service (215-580-7800) is available Monday – Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, and Saturday – Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm, to answer questions and provide assistance.
