CONGRATULATIONS HEATHER GRIESSER LAPIERRE

Heather Griesser LaPierre of RE/MAX Preferred Newtown Square has been named a winner in NAR’s 2022 Good Neighbor Awards.

Griesser LaPierre, the founder of Kids Against Hunger Philadelphia, will receive a $10,000 grant for her organization, be featured in the fall 2022 issue of Realtor® Magazine and will also be presented with a crystal trophy at NAR NXT in November.

Griesser LaPierre sought to help alleviate hunger both in her own community and worldwide. Seven years ago, she began Kids Against Hunger Philadelphia and through the help of countless volunteers, they pack nutritious meals for children. When schools shut down for the pandemic, Kids Against Hunger didn’t back down, instead they doubled production to 350,000 meals per month to make sure kids who relied on school lunches were still fed. Volunteers work seven days a week to make sure everything gets done.

Griesser LaPierre herself spends some time every single day there, in addition to a busy real estate career. The center has packed more than 9 million meals since its’ inception.
