Book Swap Offers Good Reads And Plenty Of Puzzles At Yardley Library

YARDLEY, PA —Got some books in your personal library you want to trade? Or need some new reading material?

The Yardley Historical Association can help with both of those.

The association will hold its quarterly Book Swap on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 1-4 p.m. at the Old Library by Lake Afton, 46 West Afton Ave., President Susan Taylor said.

Residents are welcome to bring a bag of books of interest to adults and/or children or take a bag of “new to you” books home. In addition to books, jigsaw puzzles are welcome.

Taylor stated that "this is a swap, not a drop" and that no one should bring no more than one grocery bag of books or puzzles.

After the Swap, wander over to Main and Afton to see what’s in store with Experience Yardley’s “Devilish Delights” Second Saturday activities.

The Yardley Historical Association preserves, maintains, and shares the Old Library by Lake Afton and its collections of books, documents, and ephemera related to Yardley’s history. The community is welcome to come to explore, discover, and have fun.
