'Donuts' Cause Damage To Morrisville Grass Lot

MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Police Department is seeking those responsible for causing "extensive damage" to an open lot in the borough on Thursday.

Morrisville Police said there was "extensive damage" in the open lot at the corner of South Delmorr and East Philadelphia Avenue.

It appeared that a four-wheeled vehicle entered the grass lot adjacent to the Morrisville Dog Park and performed several "donuts," causing ruts and damage to the grass.

In February, vandals damaged fields near Williamson Park with tire tracks.

Morrisville Police said that on or about Feb. 25, there was damage to the fields from a motor vehicle that was directly in front of Williamson Park, Imagination Island, and the Waterfront Picnic Tables.

Police said that it appeared that the suspect was in "a narrow type vehicle," possibly a Jeep or small pickup, and went around in circles damaging the grass substantially.
