BRISTOL-WARREN, RI — Without community leaders, Bristol-Warren wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

How do you know this community leader?

I am a parent of two students at Hugh Cole school, where she works as a physical education teacher

What does this community leader do?

Tracy is a Physical Education teacher at Hugh Cole Elementary School who provides community leadership for families in Warren in numerous ways: She is a volunteer at East Bay Food Pantry and the liaison with St. Mary of the Bay and our Hugh Cole School food pantries, providing meals for families navigating food insecurity. Tracy is an ambassador at Gives to Give, which enables her to help Hugh Cole families that are in need of help with clothing and other essential items.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Tracy is an influential leader in the school community and is there volunteering to improve our school environment at every turn - through physical improvements, service efforts and hosting community events. Tracy inspires the next generation of leaders through the Hugh Cole student council, which she co-chairs along with Tracey Lima. Her passion, energy and commitment to this community are an inspiration.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Tracy has quietly impacted the lives of so many families in Warren during times of need. We are grateful for you, Tracy!
