Blithewold Manor, Gardens & Arboretum

Experience the peace of Blithewold as the birds do! You will be gently guided through our natural spaces; taking in and connecting with the early morning sights, sounds, and smells during this leisurely stroll. Unwind and recharge, science has shown that time spent in nature has healing and therapeutic health benefits.
Please bring a water bottle and wear sturdy walking shoes. This program will take place rain or shine so please dress appropriately.
Preregistration is required. Each class is limited to 15 people. This is not appropriate for children under 12.

Part 1: Themed Tablescapes Creation
<ul><li>Learn how to design one-of-a-kind themed tablescapes tailored to a specific holiday or season.</li><li>Explore a curated list of stores and locations where items were purchased, along with their costs.</li><li>Discover the distinctions between store-bought pieces and uniquely homemade items.</li></ul>
Part 2: Hands-On Centerpiece Creation
<ul><li>Each attendee will have the opportunity to craft their very own special homemade centerpiece.</li><li>All materials and tools needed to create the centerpiece will be pre-packaged and ready at each participant's seat.</li><li>I will guide you through the creation process, providing multiple examples of pre-made centerpieces incorporated into the beautiful tablescape on display.</li></ul>
All materials for the centerpieces are included in the workshop pricing. Join us for an inspiring session that combines creativity with practical tips, leaving you with a stunning centerpiece to take home!

The Collaborative Lab for Creative Experimentation

George Hail Library is proud to offer free yoga classes on Fridays during the month of September, taught by a certified yoga instructor. I will share my process of looking for shapes and values in photographs, discerning how to edit a photo, creating value sketches from them, and then translating them into paintings" Erin Spencer This class is for oil or acrylic painters; intermediate experience recommended.
