Coventry Holding Halloween Spooktacular Oct. 21

The family-friendly event will include trunk-or-treat, games and an outdoor trail walk.

COVENTRY, RI — Coventry will host a family-friendly Halloween "spooktacular" next weekend at the Guy Lefebvre Community Center.

The event is free and will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, with a rain date of Saturday.

Costumes are encouraged, along with something to hold candy and a flashlight. The event will feature trunk-or-treat, a not-so-scary outdoor trail walk and seasonal games. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To get to the trunk-or-treat, attendees will have to follow an outdoor trail, which may be uneven. The event will be completely outdoors.
