Obituary: Joan (Leclair) Maine, 85

Joan (Leclair) Maine, 85, of Weaver Hill Rd., passed away at the Alpine Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was the wife of Carleton A. Maine for 55 years. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Hector and Doris (Bliven) Leclair.

Joan was employed in Telecommunications for many years most recently at Foxwoods Casino before retiring. Joan enjoyed playing golf. She belonged to the Mac’s Bowlaway Bowling league.She was the mother of Kimberly I. Maine of West Warwick and Holly A. Terwilliger of California. Joan is also survived by five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Nanette Couture.At Joan’s request, her funeral and interment in Woodland Cemetery in Coventry were private. Arrangements by the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry.
