Obituary: Norman W. "Bert" Lavallee, 73

Norbert W. “Bert” Lavallee, 73, of Seneca Street, Coventry passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He was the husband of Sharon E. (Raymond) Lavallee.

He was born in West Warwick, a son of the late Wilfred O. “Buster” and Alexia B. (Regniere) Lavallee.
Norbert was an operating engineer for the Sterling Construction Company and later for the Fleet Construction Company for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the International Union of Opering Engineers – Local # 57.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Christopher Lavallee of Texas; a daughter, Dominicque Lavallee of Connecticut; two sisters, Pauline Ryan of East Greenwich and Annette Leveillee of West Greenwich; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Jennifer Lavallee of Texas.

A funeral prayer service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick. Visiting hours are Saturday morning 9-10 am.
