Obituary: Therese A. Ciummo, 98

Therese A. (Thibaudeau), Ciummo 98, of Coventry passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was the wife of the late Adolph Ciummo.

She was born in Coventry, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Melina (Cardin) Thibaudeau.
Therese was an active member of the Ladies’ Guild and the Marie Rivier Association and a daily communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Coventry.

She leaves two daughters, Nancy L. DePetrillo and her husband, Lawrence of Cranston and Paula Spector of Coventry and was a devoted grandmother to her grandsons, Zebulon Spector and wife, Tara, Joshua Spector and wife, Meghan, and Paolo DePetrillo and the late Vincent DePetrillo. She cherished her time with them spending many hours playing and reading to them when they were young. She looked forward to visits from them and from her great-grandchildren, Caleb, Wyatt, Cosette and Cole Spector.

She was the mother of the late Susan Ciummo and sister of the late Yvonne Maynard, Rita Cheney, and Henry Thibaudeau

The funeral will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 8 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry. Interment will be in the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry, R.I. 02816.
