3 Domestic Assaults; A DUI; More: Cranston Police Arrest Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Aug. 3 and Aug. 5.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in, as well as the time of the arrest, were only omitted when not provided by police.

Aug. 3

8 p.m. — Brandon Danzer, 30, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.

8 p.m. — Courtney Calenda, 38, of East Greenwich, was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

8 p.m. — David Pono, 53, of Cranston, was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

11:04 p.m. — Tyler McLewin, 28, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism, and domestic disorderly conduct.

11:10 p.m. — Mark Brown, 42, of Cranston, was charged with DUI of liquor and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police said the arrest stemmed from a crash on Delway Road.

Aug. 4

8:05 a.m. — Robert Dorsi, 49, of Cranston, was charged with embezzlement/fraudulent conversion over $100. Police said Dorsi turned himself in on a warrant.

Noon — Jonathan Smith, 27, of Cranston, was charged with possession of schedule I-to-V drugs (under 10 grams). Police said the arrest stemmed from a suspicious activity call near the bike path on Garfield Avenue.

Noon — Michelle Myers, 35, of Cranston, was charged with possession of schedule I-to-V drugs (under 10 grams), resisting legal or illegal arrest, and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Police said the arrest stemmed from a suspicious activity call near the bike path on Garfield Avenue.

4:14 p.m. — Xavier Rodriguez, 33, of Providence, was arrested on a warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest happened after a motor vehicle stop on Wellington Avenue.

Aug. 5

7:23 p.m. — William Alexander, 67, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the arrest happened after a larceny in progress call from the Walmart on Plainfield Pike.
