5 RI Startups Among Fastest-Growing In America: New Ranking

The RI companies on the list have experienced rapid revenue growth while navigating inflation, rising interest costs, and hiring challenges.

RHODE ISLAND — Several startups with roots in Rhode Island are ranked among the fastest-growing private companies in America in the 2024 Inc. 5000 list released Tuesday.

The companies on the list have experienced rapid revenue growth in recent years while navigating inflationary pressures, rising interest costs and hiring challenges from 2020 through 2023. The top 500 companies on the list had an average median three-year revenue growth rate of 1,637 percent. Together, the 5,000 companies on the list have added 874,458 jobs over the past three years.

To qualify for the ranking, companies must be U.S.-based and must have been generating revenue by March 31, 2020. Although some of the startups may have gone public or been acquired since the review period ended, the list represents companies that were private, for-profit and independent as of Dec. 31, 2023, Inc. said.

The companies must also have had minimum revenues of $100,000 for 2020 and $2 Million for 2023. See the full methodology.

  • No. 484 — Feast & Fettle in East Providence, a food and beverage industry company that had a three-year growth of 909 percent.
  • No. 915 — Maxfield Group in Cranston, an IT services company that had a three-year growth of 551 percent
  • No. 1,127 — Tech Pro Marketing in Barrington, an advertising and marketing company that had a three-year growth of 453 percent.
  • No. 1,206 — Tower Title in Providence, a company in the insurance industry that had a three-year growth of 426 percent
  • No. 1,438 — Haverhill in Warren, a retail company that had a three-year growth of 358 percent.
