Barrington Native Takes Cranston Library Job

Martha Boksenbaum is the new Youth Services Librarian at the Auburn branch.

CRANSTON, RI — There's a new face at the Cranston Public Library's Auburn branch, 396 Pontiac Ave. Martha Boksenbaum, a Barrington native, has been hired as Youth Services Librarian. She has experience in that role. Boksenbaum has worked since 2014 as Youth Service Librarian at the public library in Chelsea, Mass. Also in 2014, she earned a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.

Boksenbaum will "design and conduct programming for children and teens and be responsible for building the children and teen collections at the Auburn branch," the library said.
