In 1950 Edwin Reynolds, a boarder and farm hand working at the Dusza pig farm on Carrs Pond Road, murdered all five members of his host family, including 3 children. At a time when East Greenwich was transforming itself from a community of small farms into an affluent suburb, this brutal murder shocked the entire country.
