How Much Violent Crime Happened in Johnston
The FBI has released the 2014 Unified Crime Report which features statistics for crime in Johnston.
The FBI recently released its annual ”Crime in the United States” report, which includes information about Johnston.
According to the report, Johnston saw 42 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.
There were 4 reported rapes, 3 robberies, and 35 aggravated assaults in Johnston.

Other crime stats for Johnston included 260 larcenies, 82 burglaries, forty motor vehicle thefts, and two cases of arson.
Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
