Look Out For Mortgage Post Card Scam: Narragansett Police

Police said the postcards are in the mail and claim to have time sensitive information regarding victims' mortgages.

If you have received one of the postcards, you do not need to call the 1-800 number on the card, and you do not need to take further action. Police said simply throw the card away.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Narragansett police warned the public to be on the lookout for a new postcard scam.

Police said the postcards are in the mail and claim to have time sensitive information regarding victims' mortgages.

If you have received one of these postcards, you do not need to call the 1-800 number on the card, and you do not need to take further action. Police said simply throw the card away.
