NARRAGANSETT, RI — Narragansett police have asked the public to watch out for car thieves after two motor vehicles were recently stolen in town.

Police said both vehicles were unlocked and had the keys left in them. One vehicle was recovered in Connecticut and the other hasn't been found yet, police said Wednesday.

"Please remember to lock your vehicle at night," Narragansett police said in a Facebook post. "Other neighboring towns have also experienced recent stolen motor vehicles as well. Please lock your doors and call 911 to report suspicious activity."
