Police Identify Body Pulled From Water In Narragansett

Narragansett police ruled the 64-year-old man's death accidental.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Narragansett police said they identified a man's body they fire officials pulled from the water at the Port of Galilee Wednesday morning.

Police told WPRI 12 the man was Steven Andrews, 64. Based on surveillance footage, police deemed his death was accidental.

The body was found in the waters off State Street around 8:30 a.m., fire officials said. The body was turned over to the state medical examiner to investigate.
