A Middletown man will serve nearly seven years in federal prison after he fraudulently applied for more than $4.7 million in fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program loans. Michael Moller, 42, was on supervised release at the time he applied for the fraudulent loans.

Moller's sentencing comes in the wake of Massachusetts man David Adler Stavely, who was sentenced earlier this month to 56 months in federal prison after becoming the first person in the country charged with defrauding PPP relief.

A Barrington police officer was credited with returning a stolen bike to a local kid after it was reported missing last week.

Officer Brendan Combes found the bike on an online marketplace and messaged the seller, arresting them at the time of the meetup.
