A soaking rain will overspreads the region tonight. There is a low
risk that the rain begins as a brief period of freezing rain at some
locations. Any icing would be light, but it only takes a small
amount of freezing rain to result in hazardous travel. If confidence
in more widespread freezing rain, a Winter Weather Advisory will be
issued.

Two soaking rain events are likely through early next week. Given
river levels are running very high, the potential exists for some
minor river and stream flooding into early next week.

In addition, the Monday into Tuesday morning system may potentially
result in some wet snow accumulations across the interior high
terrain. This remain uncertain, but the highest risk right now
appears to be along the east slopes of the Berkshires and northern
Worcester Hills.
