NARRAGANSETT-SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — This November, Patch is celebrating "30 Days of Gratitude," stories about living with gratitude — in simple terms, a deliberate choice to see the goodness and joy in your life and to wish the same for your neighbors.

Living with gratitude is a matter of continually counting one's blessings while at the same time recognizing that the source of goodness in one's life is other people.

I thank my landlords, Lisa Beth and Brian, for allowing me to live in a beautiful house where I have achieved an all-time high level of health and happiness.

South Kingstown law enforcement agencies: Thank you for continuing to do your job protecting the community in spite of the adversity! The current events in today’s climate have placed our law enforcement agencies in a compromising position! In one hand, they must continue to serve and protect the community, honoring the oath they chose to uphold! On the other hand, they face unfair judgments from the public! I say unfair because people tend to generalize and perceive their thought processes in those terms! That is the furthest from the truth in, frankly most situations, especially in this one! Most law enforcement officers are truly committed, kind, compassionate people that choose a career in law enforcement to make a positive difference in their communities! And for that I am grateful and I applaud them here in my community and across the world!!!
