ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join exhibiting artists David Barnes, Tom Deininger and Bradley Wester for a lively conversation. For over ten years, these three artists, living and/or working in Bristol, RI, have been in deep conversation about their work, the work of other artists, poetry, criticism, the art world, and politics.
They share that rare space between artists, each allowed to test ideas on the other without fear of reprisal… well sometimes! But that’s just it—this is a years-long conversation based on trust and honesty. Each demands of the other their highest standards and integrity. Before Wester’s arrival from New York, Barnes and Deininger had been in conversation for decades prior. Surprisingly, PIVOT is also the first time that all three artists have exhibited together.
