After more than a week off the air, WIS-TV returned overnight for DISH Network subscribers in the Midlands.
A contract dispute between Raycom Media, which owns WIS (the Midlands' NBC affiliate) and 51 other stations, and DISH Network led to the station leaving the company's satellite service at the end of July.
